The Dos & Don'ts of Date Night..

So this month Glamour has The Dos and Don'ts of Date Night...  I read through and must say they will come in quite handy for those summer nights of farmers market or concert in the park second dates.

1.  BE BOLD WITH COLOR.
DO try something in fuchsia or red, but keep it sleek and simple.  It's sexy, fun and a total confidence booster for your big evening.
DON'T rely on head to toe black.  Show him you can take a risk!

2.  ADD A LITTLE GLITZ TO THE MIX
DO try a feminine gold necklace and classic diamond-stud earrings.
DON'T pile on lots of noisy, oversize earrings and necklaces.  Whether it's in or not, men don't like ascribe to "more is more" accessories philosophy.

3.  SKIP FUSSY HAIRSTYLES
DO keep things soft and natural.  even it it took hours, it should look like it took just minutes.
DON'T lacquer everything with tons of spray or product.  Untouchable = unsexy.

4.  SHOW SKIN SELECTIVELY
DO try a subtle off-the-shoulder or scoop neckline on top.  You'll have him wondering what he isn't seeing.
DON'T do major cleavage.  You can guess where he'll be looking the entire night (not in your eyes)!

5.  WHEN IT COMES TO MAKEUP, GO FOR PRETTY, NOT PRETEND-Y
DO  keep your makeup natural, Men want to see the real you.
DON'T overpaint.  Nothing ages you more than too much color.

I found these few looks that would so stay within these guidelines and are sooo cute!

I would either do the diamond stud earrings with this necklace or do no necklace and these earrings with a simple Tribal or Aztec printed bracelet.
