Girls Night Out..Kinda

A couple weeks ago some good friends of mine and I had dinner with their kids and two little ladies that I was watching for the evening.  It was quite entertaining I must say with a 7 year old, a 6 year old, two 3 year olds and a 4 month old baby boy! I was able to capture some pictures once dinner was done and we were on our way out!

48 Hour Get A Way.

I left with hopes to capture lot of pictures... With a long friday evening including lots of alcohol, a cab ride that seated 5 but actually had 8 piled in and not getting back to the hotel until 4:19am, pictures was the last thing I was thinking about.  I couldn't wait to hit the pillow and hoped not to wake up until noon!

But as we were checking out I did notice these two little mini fridges side by side in the hotel lobby snack shop!  Perfect for and after PARTYING!

It's Ok To.

Have lunch out 3 times the week and have sack lunch 2

Hang out with an Ex as long as you are both single

To Dream

Change up your Starbucks order every once in a while

Buy a piece of clothing in a smaller size and work hard to fit into it

Grow apart from people who have always been in your life, but never been there for you

Venture out and try to new things like a new gym class or dating site

To clean out your Contacts, sometimes we need to get rid of the bad digits in our lives

Hair Products Must Have.

If you are lazy at doing your hair like I am, then these following products are right up your alley.  Once a week to every two weeks I wash my hair (gross I know), I don't blow dry it nor do I ever use products.  But on occasion I like to use some hair spray and a little curl enhancer like these two..

Pre-Fall'n Colors

I paint my nails and toes on a weekly basis.  Freshly painted nails is a total must have for me.  I found these colors as I was searching for new fall colors to add to my collection of polishes.  And must say I have Fall'n in major love with them.  Not one in this color pallette I do not like!

These were just added to my collection and I cannot wait to wear them!

San Antonio Tacos.

I tried these last night and I must say you have to try them too!!!

Ingredients


CRISCO® Corn Oil* for deep frying

4 (6 inch) flour tortillas

1 pound ground beef or ground turkey

1/2 medium onion, finely chopped

1 cup salsa

1 (15.25 ounce) can kidney beans

2 teaspoons chili powder

2 teaspoons cumin

1 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

4 cups shredded iceberg lettuce

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Optional garnish: sour cream, chopped tomato, sliced black olives and additional salsa


Directions


1.Heat 3 inches CRISCO® Oil to 365 degrees F in deep fryer or deep saucepan. Place one tortilla in oil. Let float 5 seconds. Press center of tortilla into oil with metal ladle to form bowl.

2.Holding ladle in place, fry 1 - 2 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

3.Brown ground meat and onion in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat; drain.

4.Add salsa, beans, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes. Divide lettuce equally between tortilla bowls. Top with meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Top with desired garnishes; serve.

With my birthday last week, BBQ's, Late night swims with friends, Portuguese Celebration this past weekend and late night at the bullfights last night I have greatly neglected my blog! I am so very sorry.  I have taken the time to catch up tonight and will continue to do so.  Hope you have been enjoying the blog, the topics are only going to get a lot more fun as time goes on.
