Mid-State Fair.

It was quite entertaining people watching, listening to odd drunk covos and eating all the junk food in sight from corn dogs, cinnamon rolls to carne asada nachos as we listened and watched Thompson Square and Jason Aldean.. I must say that I couldn't have chosen better company than Scott and Marisa to be great sports as I trailed the midway to find the used to be dime toss, scoped out the pavilions for trinkets and Marisa for being the best people watcher co-pilot I could ever ask for and for making the ball toss and winning me Paso the fish! Thanx guys.....

Random Home Decor.

There are often times you come across a piece of furniture or piece of art that is just to hard to pass up and admire.  I used to only get that way with clothing, shoes and accesories now its like that with home decor.  I recently found these pieces I sense will be in my life.

Bohem Me.

Big earrings and hair buns are such a big thing to me right now.  As I have posted before about hair buns, I did not post how I have been pairing them with BIG earrings from hoops to Aztec style dangling earrings.  These are a few I have recently added to my collection.  They also pair great with solid color Maxi's and bright matte colored lips!

Bat Them Lashes.

As being a Virgin to lash extensions, I completely had fallen in LOVE with them when I was given an appointment for a full set for my birthday last year.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE them now.  It almost takes me back to when I first got out of dental school and would look at every ones teeth to see how white, or straight or which tooth was a crown, which had a feeling.  Now I look at eyelashes and think, are those MAC strips or extensions or a really good mascara.  The process for lash extensions is time consuming, just as getting your nails done every two to three weeks.  Lash fills are the same thing.  It starts with a full set that may take up to 2 hours, and as time goes on you need to get them filled.  That may take 30 minutes to an hour depending on the tech doing them.  Once they are applied you will literally feel like you have had a complete makeover.  Some people like to put mascara over the lashes, I will sometimes only apply it to the bottom.  When I have lashes on I feel like my daily routine to apply my makeup has been cut down to nothing.  I just apply lipstick and go.

Coming To An End.

As summer is coming to an end, well kinda.  There are those fun summer events like last minute BBQ's, a few last Farmers Markets or even a concert at the State fair, dresses are always needed.  I came across these little numbers as I have been looking for something to wear to concert at the Mid-State Fair next week.  Decisions, Decisions!

Healthy Summer Snacking..

Since the summer weather has finally kicked in, I have been in a pool or on the river with my friends I have noticed that snacks are always a priority.  Summer fruits are always the best.  Being they are fresh and not heavy. My personal favorite are Peaches, Honeydew, Watermelon, Strawberries and of course Grapes!  MMMM!!!  They seem to keep me full and I never feel stuffed or bad for eating alot at once.  I'm also a very big fan of Jello.  Today, I made Peach flavored Jello, my all time favorite.  Jellos of any flavor are also a refreshing kick to a mid afternoon snack while sunbathing.

Instagram.

The closest thing for me to Photoshop on my Iphone is Instagram.  I have literally fallen in <3 with this app.  You can take a picture, change the tone of the color and then upload it to Instagram, link it with Twitter and Facebook.  I have posted just a couple of the pics below that I have taken, changed and uploaded.  The best part of all, It's FREE!  Make sure to download the app, link your contacts and that way you can like or comment on other pics and others can do the same.
