12 Points For A Good Way Of Life.

1.  The best day of your life is today, here and now: Don't live a life of sadness from the past or be anguished for the future.

2.  Don't make the same mistakes you've made in the past.

3.  Commit to one possible and concrete goal to better the quality of your life.

4.  Always live with sincerity and honesty

5.  Be grateful for life, others, nature and God.

6.  Don't have expectations or expect rewards in return for all you do.

7.  Pay more attention and give more love to those that surround you and the small details of every day.

8.  Free and heal your heart of resentment, wounds, and hates from the past.

9.  Don't forget, any person that approaches you brings with them the story of their life.

10.  Believe deeply and make others believe as well.  Tomorrow will be a better day.

11.  Always seek a place or somebody where you can find:  confidence and feel well protected.

12.  Make the effort use in your speech only words that:  encourage, bless and heal others.

Nail Art is OUT!

A couple days ago I came across a Tweet that was posted by @tanyamcqueen, and she was very right on when she tweeted this along with the picture that is next to it:

"Is nail art really necessary? Please say NO!!"

I feel the exact same way she does! It kills me to see people with all this artwork and detail to their hands.  I think that simple and a clean look to your hands makes you more classy.  I do like a good ring finger bling with glitter (pics below) to kinda off balance the solidness and maybe dress up your style for a night out or a special occasion.

Cuffed.

Cuffs are a dress up or down accessory.  Etsy seems have to have quite a selection when it comes to them.  All ranges of material, colors and snaps.

Flat Footed.

I like to wear wedges and a light heel on occasion when going out, but for work or casual outings I often am into wearing a flat soled shoe, like any of these pictured below.

Gala Darling.

Last week while surfing blogs and trying to stay occupied on my lunch break at work, I came across the blog:  Galadarling.com.  I studied her blog, read around and got really in tuned with her and what she was about.  In one portion of her Welcome page she says this:

It’s so clear to me that a life lived with love in your heart is the most fulfilling type. My real passion is in helping girls discover how to make that happen for them, & in encouraging them to be a valentine to the world every day!

Not being in 20's anymore that didn't stop me from reading on and checking her past and recent blog posts and reading what she has to say to shuffle a girls mind.  A lot of inspiration and eye openers were clearly stated in many of her posts.  Girls, women, moms, sisters these days really don't have someone telling them to love themselves first.  I strongly believe that God should always be put first, not that I always seem to follow that and it is a strong fault of mine, but yourself should be 2nd.  In personal relationships with friends and family, you should always be the first one to make happy and put yourself first in any situation, not ever let people walk all over you or degrade you for any matter.  I see that a lot in friends that I have.  They put their husbands, children and a lot of times friends first rather than themselves.  Quickly they get exhausted and worn out.  I surely reccomend visiting Galadarling.com to learn a little something about lifes little lessons!

Why I Heart My Hometown.

I live in a small little country town, population being around 1800, where everyone knows everyone and the minute something good or bad happens to someone then the whole town knows within minutes, literally.  A few weeks ago we had a major tragedy and a lot of us lost a dear, sweet man, to most he was a good friend.  It has affected our small town in a lot of ways.  To some they lost a childhood friend, to a little boy he lost his father and to others they lost a companion with a lot of passion for baseball that would make watching any Sunday afternoon game much more entertaining by his theatrics and raging excitement if his team won.  Our small town pulled together quickly to support his family in their time of need and without having any thoughts to ever leave their side.  Some brought food, others a lending hand, but most important comfort and most shared stories of the past to let them know that he had been loved way beyond their imagination or even his.

Living in a small town has brought many values and taught me many lessons about life.  Growing up we didn't and still don't have Taco Bell, McDonald's or any drive thru for that matter.. Heck we don't even have a stop light.  You would have to drive about 10-15 minutes into the next town over for any of that.  A couple years ago they brought us a Subway.  That was world changing to us.  We do have a couple Taco Trucks, some gas stations and a very well known bar.  But we have learned to appreciate that you can walk into any of the local businesses and most likely the person behind the counter will know your name.  I wouldn't trade growing up in a small town for the world.  Everywhere you need to go you can walk, ride your bike or even drive a quick minute and you are there.

7-Beauty Tips From E.L.F. Cosmetics

-Nail Polish Ruined Your Nails?  Sometimes nail polish can discolor nails and turn them yellow. If this happens apply white vinegar to the nail.

-Stressed? It will show! Here are a few suggestions on how to detox: Natural aromatherapy oils or candles in the home - Listen to calming music at night - have a massage at least once a month - exercise at least 30 minutes a day - take a 20 minute walk in the evening - take all natural vitamins daily- And don't forget to smile

-It's Time To Re-define Your Eyes.  Give your eyes the great definition they deserve. Define the bone structure in the eye area using bronzer. Brush on bronzer from the inner corner of your eye towards bridge of nose.

-The Big "O" Tip.  After applying lipstick or gloss, pucker your lips into an extreme "O." Cover your finger in a tissue, and poke it into your mouth. Twist away any excess color that will eventually land up on your teeth and such.

-The Ways Of Bronzer.  Bronzer works very well for creating a monochromatic look. Use it to shadow eyes, as a finishing powder for lips, to soften eyebrows, and as a finishing powder to set makeup. Try E.l.f.'s four color bronzers for this look.

-Cleaning Brushes.  Use the vacuum, yes the vacuum to clean your brushes! Hold them tight (so you don't vacuum them up!) and close to the open end of the vacuum hose, then let it clean and fluff your brushes! Works great!

-Brrr…its getting cold outside!  Keep skin from drying up, by switching to a heavier moisturizer for winter.
